Professional Biographies

$250 w/three revisions — We create our clients’ “go to” professional biographies, based upon a tailored interview, that illuminates their stories, strengths, and accomplishments. Clients receive up to three revisions before a final draft is delivered.

$50 for each additional revision

Writing Consultations/Sessions

$50/hour — Stuck on a writing project? Want to build your writing skills but unsure where to begin? This service assesses clients’ writing skills, goals, and needs to provide a customized writing workshop. Most applicable for businesses.

Website Revamp

Variable per word rate —  Otherwise known as website copy editing, this service replaces outdated web copy with fresh content based upon the owner’s vision. This includes, but is not limited to, writing mission statements, philosophies, and company descriptions. $50/hr.

$150 flat rate — Looking to update your resume? With our resume writing service, we rewrite, redesign, and reformat your existing resume to make you a more marketable candidate for prospective employees. A preliminary interview as well as any revisions and/or edits made to the initial draft is included in the price.

Business Writing Course

$750 — Looking to improve your writing skills? Our business writing course is designed to assist in you writing with clarity and precision. This course can be completed in 12 hours and offers text recommendations, writing tasks, and detailed feedback on writing. Don’t miss out! Book us now!

Revise/edit professional documents

 $50/page— Revise (make structural changes) and edit (i.e. for grammar, spelling, mechanics, etc.) documents that are 250 words or less. This includes, but is not limited to: formal letters, emails, memos, or other documents used in professional settings.

Freelance Content Contributor

$0.20 /word —  If you need the content, we have the skills. We write, revise, and edit a plethora of content from articles to short stories to poetry.

Speech Writing

$0.20 /word —  We will take the stress out of the writing or help improve your writing so that you can focus on delivering an inspiring, engaging, and memorable speech!

Educational Services

Variable —  This is where our teaching, and specifically, literacy expertise meets our business acumen. Give us your vision, and we will create customized content to assist in your educational programs. This includes: creating materials for reading projects (i.e. short stories + comprehension questions), writing short stories to prompt discussions, writing tasks, and more!

Manuscript Editing

Variable per hour rate—  This service includes copy editing and/or line editing completed manuscripts. Copy editing involves making structural changes to the manuscript, revising for tone, voice, tense, and word choice as well as editing for some errors in spelling, grammar, and other mechanics. Developmental editing focuses more on the big picture and involves developing a book or other project from the initial concept onward, working closely with the author to ensure effective plot development, character-building, and overall ensures the book stands out from the rest! Line editing involves the editor reading the script line-by-line and doing more detailed editing. Proofreading involves doing final a read and putting in the “final touches” — ensuring all i’s are dotted, t’s are crossed, spaces are closed and correcting other errors that may have been missed in the editing process.

Basic copy editing: $40 per hour Pace: 5 to 10 pages an hour

Heavy copy editing: $45 per hour Pace: 2 to 5 pages an hour

Developmental editing: $50 per hour Pace: 1 to 5 pages an hour

Line editing: $55 per hour Pace: 1 to 6 pages per hour

Proofreading: $40 per hour Pace: 20 pages per hour
